Greetings everyone. I have not posted in a long time. I apologize.

We made the sad decision that it was time for Willow to go to the Rainbow Bridge today. He was ~17 years old — we aren't really sure – and had kidney disease and hyperthyroidism. He left behind 2 humans, each with 2 feet, and 4 cats, each with 4 feet. That makes 20 feet total. We lost our 3-legged cat, Gracie, a number of years ago but gained 2 cats (each with 4 feet) since then. Boots is sleeping peacefully on my lap and Puss (her sister) is upstairs. Nikki and Koro-chan were here a few minutes ago, but must have left the room for better food.

>1 krazy4katz: I also have a Willow, thankfully still alive and well, but I know how short these little lives are. My condolences on your loss.

So sorry for your loss. I have a 17-year-old cat (Angus) as well, and am watching his ups and downs, and just trying to appreciate the time I have left with him.

>1 krazy4katz: So sorry about Willow. I have an 18 year old Mattie who has been being treated for hyperthyroidism for years. She's now blind but has days where she races around like a kitten. I know my time with her is limited and try to give her some quality time each day.
