Instead of doing the stuff I need to get done, I've been adding books to my library this evening and reading reviews as I've gone along. One of the sets of reviews that has amused me the most has been for Nightwood by Djuna Barnes. I've always thought that Barnes' use of language is one of the things that makes Nightwood stand out as a great, unlike a few of the reviewers who thought her style makes the book too "talky" to be readable. What do you guys say? Is it genius or is it drivel?
