I just finished The Woman All Spies Fear by Amy Butler Greenfield, and it mentioned that Elizebeth and William Friedman - who were both codebreakers during World Wars 1 and 2 - amassed a personal library of cryptology and all their books and papers were donated to the George C. Marshall library. I looked on their website and couldn't find a list on their website but the description of the William F. Friedman Collection references "personal library of 110 linear feet". Perhaps they have a list of the titles.

Sounds fascinating, but if we don't have the info we can't catalogue it.

Oops, fixed the link to the library that owns the archive. I've contacted the library to see if a title list is available. I think only some of the titles were classified, but guess I'll find out 🙂

I can guess the nature of your response and chuckled appreciatively: I saw the OP before they fixed it, but not your response to it.
