Lately at the bookstore I find myself checking the LC classification of interesting-looking books and filing them away for potential use in this challenge.

I'd already found Your Inner Fish for QM this way, which was appealing since most people who'd posted a book for that category had Gray's Anatomy in one form or another which I couldn't actually imagine reading. This time it was The Wild Trees for SD: Forestry, which looks like an even less well-populated category.

I just finished Your Inner Fish and loved it. It's not exactly a page-turner, but it is facinating. I couldn't believe it-my son actually let me read pages of it at a time to him...this kid barely sits still for Goodnight Moon and Harry Potter (he's 4), but I start talking about a fish whose head is covered in teeth and he was hooked! I might be raising a little evolutionary biologist. :)
