How do I post pics?

Speaking as a technologically challenged human, now that I've taken some good pictures of my three adorable canines on my digital camera, how do I go about posting them? I know how to add pics to emails, but are there instructions for adding them to these messages?

Somewhere in LTers with dogs there is directions to post pics but I'll be darned if I can find it. Try the homepage of the Green Dragon group. In the paragraph at the top of the page there is a link on how to do fancy things in your posts. I know it tells you how there.

These are directions for posting from photobucket. I'm still trying to figure out how to do flickr pix.

Upload your pictures to flickr. Right click the picture and choose "copy address" from the menu (or something like that). Type this in your post:



but put a space where the underscore is and get rid of the other spaces.

To post a flickr pic, go to the "show all sizes" page and click on the size you want. (I used medium, but that's the biggest I would do) Right below the pic it will say "copy and paste this HTML to your web page" Copy the entire thing and then paste it into the message here.



Now that I've typed this I hope it works. LOL

I tried to show you what the code looked like but can't get it to work--hopefully you can figure it out from my garbled instructions. Sorry.

Guess I've yet to get this right! The second pic is 8 yr old Sam and somewhere I have pics of him as a puppy playing tug-o-war with Leo which I'll post when I find them.

I don't use flickr so am not sure if they provide the same, but did you try the code in message #4? That will work if you can determine the flickr filename for your photo (should end in ".jpg").

In Flickr:if you copy the "Embed It" link and paste here, it will post the picture.
