I can't seem to find a definition of WWMDD or MULTB. What do they mean?

I wondered the same, esp for WWMDD, and thought maybe it was something like,
What Would Misericordia Do...Do. Which of course doesn't use all the letters!

Multi-Unique-Library-Thing-Book=MULTB, maybe?? Like for the people who own several copies of a book that no one else has?

Just guesses.

Something to do with those Weapons of Mass Destruction???

I googled both of them and didn't get anything useful out of the exercise. What would Matt Dillon do? What would Miles Davis do?

MULTB looked vaguely computerish.

Wow, people actual read the group profile changes I make! Pretty cool. I didn't really hide the meaning of WWMDD. I didn't spell it out though. It is in LT somewhere. It is findable.

However the MULTB, number was an idea to get people to enter review and covers of ULTB. I am embarrassed to say, I can't remember what the "M" was for? Multiple ULTB points. Oh well no one much has want to pursue it. Mostly I would guess because it would be a pain to figure out or confirm. Any one with and idea of a way to encouraging people enter reviews, covers of Common Knowledge is welcome to suggest it.

You know, "It is a truth universally acknowledged that a single man in possession many books will catalog them" or something like that.

MODIFIED ULTB That's it! Came to me during a boring power point presentation!!! It's the Modified ULTB.

Did a query search for WWMDD in the Talk Search Box and didn't find anything. :(

re WWMDD - I'm fairly sure it's a meme for "What would Mxxx Dxxx Do?".

I first heard (read) it a while back and it referred to Matt Dillon. I always thought that any other sites eg (the What Would Mayor Daly do?) were being po-mo and referencing that for any WD name*.

No grounds for believing it, just thought it :-)

(*Kind of like the ".... 6 degrees of Kevin Bacon" that used to be referenced on sites)

edited to add a question mark. Because it needed it )

Hmmm, Don't let searching do ALL your work.

An alternative could be WWCFD but he would have to find a dry shirt before returning the library.

Hiding in plain sight, as it were...so clueless here, that I Almost wrote that I still couldn't figure it out.

WWMDD is my particular guide line for my libraries. Proably not the best to use. I mean WWLOCD Library of Congress or WWTJD Thomas Jefferson would be better. Do you have any suggest? Who is your role model for your library.
