I think I have a folder full of Squa Tront xeroxes...somewhere...I have so much stuff in boxes that I really don't have easy access to right now. I have boxes of The Comics Journal back when it really was more like a fanzine. Don't read it anymore though...
Remember The Monster Times? That was a comics/fan community friendly Horror film pub that used to run some good stuff...Wish I had those. Of course they'd all be dust by now...they started to oxidize a few months after you bought them.
I remember this one strip called "The Rat" done by Tom Sutton, an underrated journeyman favorite of mine.
And I found the issue of Mediascene with the Corben Magic Planet portfolio plate in it. It was issue 40, an "all art pin-up issue"...not all portfolio plates, but a lot of cool full page images...and some portfolio plates.
I kind of confused it with issue 38 which had an article on the portfolio explosion....but not as many big images.
He's kind of a goof as he's selling each plate individualy...
(this subject has kind of migrated here from the portfolio thread...sorry about that)
