Has everyone else read this?
I was dissapointed, and am hoping someone got more out of it than me.
I feel guilty saying that though, because it was a pleasure to read a new novel from her. But I was unhappy with the ending.

I totally agree. I knew it wasn't going to be as good as the others, but I felt I had to buy/read it.
She's a great writer and I had no trouble finishing it, but I did not love it. I also didn't love Affinity (which I thought was worse) so maybe she can be a little patchy.
Did anyone love it?

My book group chose this to read. I did not even attempt reading it as I could not get through the Tipping the Velvet or Affinity. My guess is that I am the only lesbian out there who does not love Sarah Waters.
