Well august disappeared so quickly it felt like I hardly read a thing. September is now well and truly here and I am flying through the books. I suppose it helps that they are very slim. I am on book 5 of the Wicca series by Cate Tiernan they aren't too bad so far, it helps that I have them all lined up on my tbr pile, hopefully should finish the series by the middle of next week :) it feels good to clear a few books off my tbr piles.

Soooo what are you reading/read so far this month?

Read Thin Air and Gale Storm( bks 6 & 7 on vac a couple of weeks ago. Before that Bengal's Heart (Breeds) by Lora Leigh. Really enjoy her breeds series but they are so hard

I just finished re-reading the sookie stackhouse books and also bought the new book that just came out: A Touch of Dead - they are short stories about sookie.

Yay!

Just finished Through the veil by Shiloh Walker. Really enjoyed the Missing by her also.

Waiting for the next Kitty series. Just finished Kitty raises hell. Have thought about the Other World series, does anyone recommend it.

I just finished Death's Daughter by Amber Benson. Total crap. Celebrity who thinks she can write. Main character was stupid, shallow, and whiny. obviously the author thinks her target audience is too. Under developed concept and major plot holes. Quite the slog to read, and I would have given up, but it was a RL book group choice.

I liked the otherworld series. took a couple of books for me to get into them though!

Shiver sounds interesting - is it an adult or YA book? romancey, violent, lighthearted, thriller, mystery, etc?

Shiver is a paranormal romance YA novel. I've written a review for it on my profile you should check it out it might help you decide on if you want to read it or not, but I definately recommend it!

shiver has just arrived in our local bookstore, nearly keeled over when I saw it, they also added an Urban Fantasy section. After working for them close to 7 years and badgering the HO saying this is what we need, we finally get one and it's almost bare where people have been picking up new books. So I gave them some good suggestions to stock. Feeling rather pleased with myself, wonder if they'll let me come back to work part time so I can get the discount again :)
