What anime soundtracks do you own?

I have the Naruto Best Hits Collection volumes one and two. Awesome! I listen to them all the time.

Never actually bought any but I've, ah, listened to a few. Yoko Kanno's stuff is usually excellent. Cowboy Bebop being a prime example. Yuki Kajiura (Noir) is also a favourite.

I only have an old Sailor Moon CD, but I do like the music from various series. InuYasha and Witch Hunter Robin are all that I can think of right now :P

Gravitation, Tsubasa Reservoir Chronicle, Loveless and I'm getting the 19sai single for Christmas, which is the xxxHolic theme. I also have the complete YuGiOh! theme song on my iPod, I really like it.

I've got the soundtracks from the "Bee Train trilogy" (El Cazador de la Bruja, Madlax, and Noir) - I really like Yuki Kajiura's music. I agree that Yoko Kanno's great, too, though - the Bebop soundtrack's wonderful. I also really enjoy the Simoun soundtrack.

I have a few Sailormoon CDs, a few Vampire Miyu CDs, and a few Pokemon CDs. Also a Card Captor Sakura CD. All Japanese except for one American Pokemon CD.

off the top of my head, i think i only own the karekano OSTs (act 1.0 through act 4.0).. i also own the easy go single (more for the singer than for katekyo)...

the rest of my anime/manga-related cds are drama cds.. except for the yotsuba& kuricorder pops orchestra and the karekano image album. XD;

lol, that's a long list. I have to admit I don't know most of them, but from those that I know, Invoke (Gundam SEED) is really good.

I own....more than anyone would ever really want me to list here. ^_^ But my first purchase was a huge bundle of OSTs from Gundam Wing and Cowboy Bebop. My most recent purchase was probably Abenobashi Shopping Arcade; I REALLY like the opening and closing songs. :)

Oh, I hadn't notice this thread in the group page until it was necroed today...

But if you don't have the ARIA soundtracks, you really should get them. Especially the first season - it's some of the loveliest music I have ever heard. It's choro music with piano (Choro Club + Senoo) and really fits the mood of the manga and anime.

I'm a big fan of this sort of acoustic mood music, and the Aria stuff is just so happy and pretty. Whenever I listen to the albums (and I have managed to acquire every single one), life just seems so wonderful. It's a bit like Akari's "suteki!"

I also dig the soundtrack for Toki wo Kakeru Shoujo. And the Tokyo Philharmonic version of the Haruhi soundtrack (Suzumiya Haruhi no Gensou) is quite good. Orchestral and jazz arrangements of soundtracks tend to be enjoyable, though, like the jazz arrangement of the Super Mario World soundtrack I heard a while back...

(And I guess it's really obvious that I favour a particular style of music, since these are the ones that came to mind and weren't listed.)

I looked on Amazon.com for Aria, but so many CD's come up during my search . I don't know which one it is. Can you post some links directly to a site, like Amazon, were I can hear music samples. I think that we may have similar tastes in music.

No prob! I did some searching and saw a few file sharing places with the soundtrack, but I couldn't really find clips. When you search Amazon or wherever, you need to look for "Aria the Animation" or "Aria the Natural" or "Aria the Origination" or "Aria the Box"... and then there are piano albums and 2 vocal albums and the OVA and PS2 soundtracks...

Aria the animation sounds really nice. I also like the artwork for the CD cover.

ARIA - Natsu Tayori (Soundtrack) is good, but somehow I don't like the whistling in the song.

ARIA - Aqua (Soundtrack) is also really nice. I love the clarinet in it (I'm assuming it's the clarinet at least). Somehow this song makes me think of Rini and Helios - Theme.

ARIA - Natsu Tayori (Soundtrack) is good, but somehow I don't like the whistling in the song.

ARIA the BOX has a disc with a version of that song without the whistling, for what it's worth. (The third disc has "previously unreleased" tracks, many of which are variations on the main themes.)

ETA: Aha, and I just scrolled up to see what I'd said about it before, and I had mentioned the lack of whistling in the BOX disc already -.-

The only anime soundtrack I have is one of the Fullmetal Alchmist ones. This one has all the intro and outro songs of the series.

I have the Vampire Princess Miyu OST, and a few of the Shoujo Kakeumei Utena soundtracks.

I only have Fullmetal Alchemist Complete best. I want to get more anime soundtracks for my favorite anime but can not find them. Where do you guys suggest I should look?

oh you guys you guys I recently got hold of the Yotsubato! second image album, Winter and it is super awesome.

I would suggest anything by Yuki Kajiura (NOIR, Pandora Hearts, Mai Otome), Yoko Kanno (Cowboy Bebop, Wolf's Rain) or Suga Shikao (xxxHolic).

Did Suga Shikao also do part of the Honey & Clover soundtracks? I recognize the name, but I don't have xxxHolic on my music player...

Incidentally, I just acquired the Bakemonogatari soundtrack, and I really like it. I haven't listened to the whole series of discs yet, but the instrumentals from the one that's just that are good.

You can always see if your local anime/manga store can order the CD for you. You can also check online. Maybe rightstuf.com would have it.
