I'm pretty sure I'm on the English language version of the site ;-) but there are tons of non-English-language groups in among the newer groups. Is this an error, or are they posting on the wrong "site", or what?

The ones I checked had the group language set correctly -- we just appear to have had a sudden influx of Lithuanian members. (Maybe LT had some coverage in a prominent Lithuanian source?)

Ironically, there doesn't appear to be a way to show only English-language groups. English doesn't appear on the list for "Groups by language", and attempting to construct what looks like it should be the right URL (http://www.librarything.com/groups/language/eng ) yields an error:

Warning: array_keys(): The first argument should be an array in /var/www/html/groups_new_language.php on line 154 Warning: join(): Bad arguments. in /var/www/html/groups_new_language.php on line 154

Ok, so at least I'm not losing my mind :-) Maybe English-only groups should be a feature request?

This URL ( http://www.librarything.com/groups_list.php?lang=eng ) seems to work, but I haven't examined the resulting list. It seems to be the "old" page (at least as far as format goes). I got there from a individual group page (by clicking on English in the right sidebar). I'm guessing Tim(?) forgot to change the links when he re-did Groups.

And, yeah, for consistency sake, English should be added to the Groups by language (even if it's off to the side or at the bottom/top or something, if it threatens to overwhelm the cloud).

Thanks sqdancer!

It may be the old format, but the content is current (at least, it lists "Hobnob with Authors", which was the only new group I could think of off the top of my head.)
