From the Banks of the Nile
This exhibition celebrates the 100th anniversary of the Oslo University Library Papyrus Collection and the inception of papyrology as a research field in Norway. The exhibits include some of the most important papyrus texts in the University's collection. Selected ostraca, mummy tablets, mummy wrapping and cartonnage from the 3rd cent. BC to the 7th cent will be on exhibit.
