Listed on the National Register of Historic Places, Thurber House (the home of humorist, author, and New Yorker cartoonist James Thurber during his college years) is a non-profit literary center and Thurber museum. Our mission is to celebrate the written word for the education and entertainment of the broadest possible audience and to continue Thurber’s legacy of humor.
