Beskrivning:: The Fountain Hills Library is one of 19 locations in the Maricopa County Library District (MCLD). The 15,000-sq. ft. facility opened on October 1, 2001. The Library is part of the Fountain Hills Community Center complex, which also includes a large Activities building and The River of Time Museum. The Library is state-of-the-art with over 40 public computers with flat screens, smart cards for printing and scheduling computer time.

Each year, MCLD holds more than 6,500 free events for all ages. We run a summer reading program for more than 75,000 people, and an annual "food for fines" program that accepts non-perishable foods for local pantries in lieu of collecting overdue fines. We seek to inspire curiosity, to encourage discovery and exploration, and to help residents re-engage with their community.
