This story is about a young , who received a phone call of his grandma and she said: that she lost her smile and he decide to travel to see her grandma bur during the travel he has different situations nothing was easy for him, but when he finally, saw his grandma, she started to smile agai. The grandma missed her family and mainly her grandson. So, she called and said she had lost her smile. Her grandson got on a plane with his mom and set on his way to help his grandma get her smile back. The main part of the book was all the troubles of the traveling process. I do not think that that most children will really relate to that unless they travel alot. I think that was more for parents or other adults that may be reading this book. I might use this book in my classroom to read right before a break or right after a break in school. The times when children and their family are traveling. I love the premise of the book: that the grandmother misses her grandson and he is the only one that can "find" her smile. While an adult readers can relate to the airport delays because of security, I'm not sure it would work for kids - it seems to draw out longer than necessary. When the boy and his grandmother finally get together, the story is over. I would have like to see more time with them together and more smiles. inga recensioner | lägg till en recension
