Sumo Boy (utgåvan 2006)

What, exactly, is happening on the first page of this book? It looks, well, a little, I don’t know, maybe, well.... You should look at it.

The book as a whole is frenetic and disjointed. It somehow manages to be both perfectly simple and difficult to follow with its busy illustrations and clipped text. But, then again, sometimes it’s just fun to watch a little harmless violence, and, goodness knows, I always enjoy a book that ends with a nice meal. Interesting. ( )
