The Time Machine Is a story about a young inventor who learns to travel in time using his time machine and discovers a world divided into to factions of human beings the Morlocks and the Eloi . One evening the time traveler is hosting a dinner party and entertains his guest With Stories of how he invented a way to time travel. Alot of the guests are doubtful of his achievments, He brings out a small model of the time machine and he explains to his guests that if you push a little lever on the model that it will travel in time. One of the guests pushes the lever and then the model whirls and blows out a candle and disappears. Some guests would probalbly think that this is a party trick But the traveler is smart and he has the guests check the table for any trick. After showing the guests the model he leads them to his workshop and shows them the actual time machine. The guests are dumbfounded so he askes them to come to his next dinner party to learn more. At the next dinner party the time traveler shows up digruntled and smelly and his clothes are ripped and bloodied the guests ask him what happens

The Time Machine is a great book and it is a very enjoyable classic one day i hope i get to read the original version. The junior Classics series definently lets you sample the books you eventually want to fully read. This book is a timeless classic (pun intended) and i think every one should read it is sure a great book my favorite part was the musuem when the eloi girl could not discern the english handwriting. I thought english would last for a good amount of time in the future even though it is flawed in many ways. I am reading Dr jekyll and Mr Hyde right now and i plan on reading more of the Sci Fi classics. H.G wells the brilliant and pioneer writer really changed how we think of time travel for the best and we will forever think of time travel like wells. In Conclusion I loved the book and may Weena forever rest in peace. ( )
