I liked this book, but I think it would be for older elementary children because it is kind of long. But the illustrations are cute, it is a very nice book.

I was always more of a Shel Silverstein fan as a kid, and it's taken me a while to get to liking Prelutsky's work. I did enjoy this one more than I expected. I think it was due to its shorter format and watercolor illustrations. ( )
