This is an informational book because it talks about what community means and gives examples of homes, places to shop, places to learn and school. Since this book gives factual information, it falls under the informational book category. I could use this book in my class to talk about what all involves a community. Another way I could use this book is to ask my students where they community is and what their favorite part about it is. The media in this book is colored pencil and watercolor. ( )
