"My Teacher's Secret Life" is a very good book for younger elementary school. It follows the misconceptions children have about teachers lives after school. This students goes on to explain how all the teachers live at the school. Then it explains all of the activities the teachers do, such as exercise and eat dinner. All of these predictions change when the young boy sees his teacher at the supermarket. He starts to believe maybe he doesn't know everything about his teacher. This book can relate to children because many younger children have the same theory of teachers living at the school. The illustrations are colorful and a bit silly. This book would appeal most to younger elementary students. ( )
