This third book in the Chisholm Cattle Company series packs a punch. As with all the books in this series, it is hard to put down, but easy to get involved in the Chisholm family mystery. Like the cliff-hanger movie serials of the fifties, each episode finds another mystery. Just when you think you have it all figured out...you don't. The reader is really missing a lot if they don't take the opportunity to start with the first book in this series and follow the mystery through to its conclusion. Better yet, start at the beginning of the Whitehorse Montana series for a really good ride! ( )
