I absolutely and utterly loved this book to pieces! It was literally very hard for me to put it down, I even skipped dinner and now I’m ravenous and it’s freaking two in the morning and there’s probably nothing for me to eat right now! So I apologize if my review doesn’t make a goddamn sense.

It is hard for me to talk about the book without revealing any major spoilers; well I have to say that I didn’t see that one coming, the author continued on keeping me on edge, leaving clues and leading me on a false track, but the outcome was totally worth the angst and had me loaded with plenty of feels. It’s the kind of story that you have to read it to experience fully all the extent of its beauty. I am left amazed and flabbergasted which is something that doesn’t occur very often with me.

I fell in love with every character, they felt real, I became infatuated with them via their dialogues: smart, funny, witty, bursting with pop culture references and Matt’s incessant talk about mathematics and physics; sometimes they were heartbreaking, and some were very hot. It was almost excruciating to part with all of them, I even cried by the end.

The back and forth emails and Facebook status updates were a nice touch that added a normalcy to the characters. It reminded me a little of Easy by Tamara Webbers, so it goes without saying that it is the best book I have read this year. ( )

This book snuck up on me. I started off thinking what a cute little story. And then it got serious. Suddenly, I just had to finish the book. I was concerned for the characters. What was going to happen? Would Celeste be OK? What was her problem anyhow? What was the big Watkins family secret? Will Julie find love? Who will she fall in love with? The title is Flat-Out Love anyhow so there has to be love there. Then when I got to the end, my heart was breaking but it was a satisfied break. I'm obviously moving on the the companion novel very soon. ( )

I really liked this book. Yes, at times it was a little predictable. But I enjoyed being a 'fly on the wall' of this dysfunctional household and their house guest Julie who, since she couldn't fix her own relationship with her father, tries to 'fix' the Watkin family's relationship. ( )

EDIT* WOW, I must be an idiot, I;ve only just (as in a second ago) realised why it's Flat-Out Love..

This was.. I'd like to say incredible, but I don't feel that it really does the book justice.

I'll be honest, I've been a little prejudice when it comes to [b:Flat-Out Love|11096647|Flat-Out Love (Flat-Out Love, #1)|Jessica Park|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1361307724s/11096647.jpg|16018629]. I didn't, don't like the cover; I think the bubble writing put me off.. I don't know, it just didn't reach out to me I guess.
This delayed me reading [b:Flat-Out Love|11096647|Flat-Out Love (Flat-Out Love, #1)|Jessica Park|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1361307724s/11096647.jpg|16018629] for a long time and I think I even blocked it from my Goodreads recommendations at one point. I know, I know you hate me right now. I hate myself too..

So I was tidying my room a couple of days ago, and found it amongst the clutter. Just seeing those bubble letters made me frown.

I just picked it up and for some reason I will never, ever fully understand (although it probably comes down to one simple word: Boredom) I decided to read the first page..

Well HOLY MOTHER OF FLUFFY KITTENS!
Next thing I knew it was three hours later and my mum was telling me it was time for dinner. At this stage I pretty much resembled this:

"Huh?" *Blink blink*

Because let me tell you, once I did, finally get around to reading this utterly earth shattering book I just.. Well I don't even know that I can express how I feel about it.

I'll admit that it was predictive, if you saw any of my status updates you know that instead of having this reaction:

"Woah.."

I instead, had this reaction:

But in my opinion, that didn't matter, because let's face it, when a book is predictable and still one of the best book you've read? You've got yourself a winner! It made me feel this whole range of emotions..

When Julie wes sad, I was sad:

When Julie was happy, I was happy:

When Julie craved Finn Is God That's what I'm calling him, because I refuse to call him Finn. I craved him too:

"Where is he? Where is he? Where is he?"

When Julie accomplished something with Celeste, I felt like I had too:

When Julie was serious, I was serious:

When Julie *cough* didn't *cough* wait patiently for replies, neither did I:

And when Julie was drunk..

..I was frikin' pissing myself laughing because she was hilarious!

Just to finish off.. I'd like to mention that climbing into bed with people always seems to work in books:

UTTERLY BREATHTAKING♥ !

Last kitteh, just for cuteness levels (:

Over & Out, T xx
