Ackamarackus (utgåvan 2001)

This book of six fables is super fun for children. The author takes animals and gives them quirky thinks about their personality. He makes all of the animals have struggles that are not normal for the animal to encounter. I think children of all ages would enjoy this book with the silliness and morals to be learned in the book. The author and illustrator do an awesome job with the pictures and text both being so colorful and attractive to the reader. ( )

These funny fables not only will give readers a good laugh, but a moral lesson to it as well. My favorite is the story of Bernard the bee. ( )

I thought this book was really funny. It is a book of fables that are quite out of the ordinary and told in a funny way. At the end of the short story it tells the two lessons that you can learn from the story. I think this is a good way to open up conversation with your classroom or with your child when reading the stories. ( )
