At first this book is a little confusing to read, so for me I had to reread it again until I got the hang of it. This is the first book of Rosenthal's that I did not give 5 stars because of it being so confusing at first. I think that this would be a good book to incorporate into a math lesson, to make numbers a little more fun. I think this book is made for children to understand more than adults and understand it faster. I think this is a fun different way to tell a story by adding numbers into the words. Iv'e never read a book like this before. I love how Rosenthal is very unique and different with her books, especially with this one.Not only does the numbers in the words keep children's attention, but also the bright and colorful illustrations used in the book. This book uses numbers in the words. The little boy and girl are camping with their parents, All of them have a picnic and play together. They pretend the go to different places and see different people. This book pictures incorporate numbers and counting as well as being bright and vibrant. ( )

I love numbers. This book made me think. It isn't about a specific story, it goes from topic to topic creating words with numbers and once the reader finally gets past the initial thinking process of the numbers inside words, it becomes much easier to understand. ( )

Wumbers is a fun little book that shows children and Adults that numbers can substitute letters in different words. When first reading this book, I had a little trouble pronouncing some of the words. I had to read it twice to really get the full affect of the word combinations. The illustrations are bright and fun with caption bubbles to show the characters words/actions. ( )

In the vein of "CDB," this puzzle book substitutes numbers in place of words and parts of words. Clever. ( )
