![]() Det finns inga diskussioner på LibraryThing om den här boken. Excellent book. ( ![]() Summary: This book mostly uses the rhyme pattern AABB. It is all about how the night you were born was a wonderful time. It talks about the readers name and how special of a name that it is. It discusses how no one else had ever been born as special as the child being read to. Personal Reaction: All in all a really sweet bedtime book for a toddler. I read it to my niece on occasion, she loves to giggle when I say “wiggly toes” and tickle her feet. It is just a sweet book. The rhyming side of it makes it easy to sound “sing-songy” bfore bedtime. Extension Ideas: Could be a good book to ready before nap time. When you reach the part where the students say their name you could tell them to whisper very softly. Good Rhyme Pattern teaching tool, have students help create a class poem after discussion the rhyming principle. This book is about how the wind and rain rejoiced at the birth of a baby. The wind had made a song with the baby's name and it carried through the ocean and the trees. The song conituned until everyone on heard the song. Animals were so happy to hear the song they also celebrated in their own way. The book goes on to tell the baby how special he is and how marvelous the night he was born had been. This is a good example of fantasy because it has elements of magic. The media in this book is probably watercolor. Age Primary We so love this story, the illustrations are beautiful and a work of their own. Love they rhyming verse. Brings tears to my eyes, the words are so heart felt. Nice book to have in a personal library collection, could be in a teacher's library to help with self-esteem and a reminder of home, as a lot of children have this book. a fun book about all the different things that happened on the night you were born.
