Goldilocks and the Three Dinosaurs: As Retold by Mo Willems (urspr publ 2012; utgåvan 2012)

The dinosaurs were preparing pudding and when they finished they went for a walk into the forest to look for something to eat. A little girl, Goldilocks came strolling by and she refused to listen to anyone if they told her to do something or not. Goldilocks decided to go into the dinosaurs house because she thought it was a bears house. While looking around she found the pudding and ate it all. After she was so tired but the chairs were too high so she went to sleep in the bed. She heard a strange noise that spooked her so she ran out of the front door and the dinosaurs ran after her, but they could not catch her.
I liked this book it is a good story for very young children and it is a spin off of the commonly known folktale, Goldilocks and the three bears. So most children can predict what will happen because they are familiar with the other story. ( )

This spin on the traditional tale has dinosaurs who visit Norway as the main characters.

Goldilocks retold as only Mo Willems could. Plenty of sarcastic fun for kids and grownups alike! ( )

Three dinosaurs prepare some chocolate pudding and then leave for go "somewhere" as a little girl enters their home, eating their delicious food. But perhaps she's walked right into a chocolate-filled trap?

This is a hilarious turn on the traditional Goldilocks tale. Older children who are familiar with the original fairy tale will get a kick out of this reworking. The moral of the story (clearly stated) is awesome.

Fans of Willems's previous works who have a keen eye will spot the Pigeon in the pages of this book. ( )
