( ) A young woman who happens to be a fairy doctor (someone who can see fairies; I'm not sure if there is anything else to that job description) gets mixed up with a young man who is on the hunt for a mythological fairy sword. It was okay. Not interested in continuing with the series, though. The female protagonist was really annoying. She had absolutely NO sense of self-preservation. She could not understand why people thought she was crazy when she talked to the fairies that only she could see, even though she KNEW that no one else could see them. Naivete to an obnoxious level. I got this manga to read because it was recommended for fans of the Black Butler series. I actually enjoyed it quite a bit and plan on continuing the series. There are four volumes total in this series which makes it a nice short and complete manga series to read. The story features a young woman. Lydia, who is a fairy doctor and has quite a bit of spunk. The main male lead, Edgar, is a man who claims to be an Earl and the ancestor of a fairy king. Edgar spends a lot of the book trying to convince Lydia that he’s on the up and up, and that she should help him hunt down a legendary sword he believes is his birthright. The story has some adventure in it but is mainly characters talking and plotting in the beginning; and I enjoyed the interaction between the characters. As the story progresses there was some action. The story was easy to follow and the characters were easy to tell apart. The illustration was well done too. Overall I enjoyed this and plan on continuing the series. I like the characters, the story, and the humor in here. The illustration was also well done. I would recommend to those who enjoy historical fantasy mangas. inga recensioner | lägg till en recension
