shakleten who tries to mack a record to cross Antarctica fastest way possible but he gets stuck and has to cross antarctica by foot. this story would be perfect for people who like amazing true story's because their clothes freeze and risk them self to survive. ( )

Ice Wreck is a small book about Ernest Shackleton and his quest to the South Pole. You find out what happens to his crew and himself along the way and if they even made it! This is a great book for young readers who want an adventure book.

As a student I liked reading this book because it kept my interest all the way through. The book also had some great pictures that show you what it actually looked like when this trip happened.

As a teacher I could use this book as a guided reading book for sure. I could also use this book to help a child get interested in ships and what happens to them in the cold. ( )
