It was alright. I mostly just read it because I had read the first one. I do enjoy the poor girl/rich guy thing, and liked the characters well enough. (

First book i have read by this author.
Ashley as a poor prickly but verbally uninhibited character was fun to read.
Quinton as an alpha male tycoon with trust issues but crazy in lust and super protective was also really interesting.
The chemistry, the relationship , the love all of it was fun.
Some of the dialogues were hilarious.
In a scene, after they make love, Ashley asks him,"Have you ever been in love?", he gets real panicky wondering if they have crossed signals somewhere. Then she's like "Relax, I'm not proposing".
There is a lot of really interesting banter like this.
To add an element to the story, there is a bad guy. Sad part is everyone knows who he is all the time. So no suspense element but some thriller element.
I am definitely going back for more of this author. Hope other books equally have these elements of humor and good chemistry. (

Glad I read the first book in series. It made understanding these characters and the plot much better. Enjoyed having Danny and his father influence and turning Tim into a better person. May off on honeymoon. Liked Ashley more in previous book - here she was too defensive, supposedly virgin, and shocked Quinton Murphy could fall for a weirdly dressed cleaning lady. Story moved along with threats of Elton getting more threatening with bombs. (
