This was one of the best pieces of fan fic that I've ever read. Having watched the show, it was good to see Merlin lay into Arthur with the snark. The entire cast of characters were on hand and there were enough one-liners and college pranks to keep the story light and enjoyable. I was clueless as to what some of the names that were bantered about but it did not matter. The sex was good and the layers of emotion stopped the story from being slapstick while it kept the angst at bay. Definitely worth reading. ( )

oh, this was fun. it was hilarious (in an ow-my-face-hurts-from-smiling-so-much kinda way; I mean it), and silly and cute and deliciously full of ust. exactly what I wanted to read atm.
now, after getting whatever the fuck it was out of my system, I'm free to go back to reading angst-filled smut. ( )

Fairly enjoyable, not as many dramatic save the prince moments, and the language is a bit too foul for my taste. But still pretty good. ( )

My re-read wasn't as much fun as I had with my original read in part, I think, because I haven't watched the show Merlin for a few years and I'm not in the fangirl mode I was in then.
The book is silly and funny and sweet - all the more if you've watched the show. It's fun to read (and really very British). ( )
