The S.A.V.E. Squad is at it again. This time focusing on Vee as the squad begins a new school year with each member in a different school. Even so, they are determined to stay close friends and accept their quirks and differences. After Vee discovers that she may not be able to stay at the accelerated school, she stumbles onto a group of feral cats that the S.A.V.E. squad decides to save. The girls grow and learn together, while they have lots of fun.

This is a great second installment to the series. The differences of the girls make the story attractive to a wide variety of girls, including adopted, single parent, divorced family, home-schooled, and Christian. This series is perfect for third through sixth grade girls that are not yet into the boy or vampire scene. They will see themselves in at least one of the characters, and enjoy reading of the girl’s struggles as they attempt to accomplish their goals and deal with their family situations. Girls will laugh aloud at on the S.A.V.E. Squad’s efforts and failures as they try to make everybody happy.

This book is for car lovers, old as well as young. As Vee Nguyen met one of the Community Center dumpster's cat, it was so afraid of her, the kitten didn't like her at first but she had to do this project to be able to get back into the club. She had been kicked out of the S.A.V.E. club at school and she wanted to get back in.
She begin to like the cat but someone at the center wanted it also.
The club begin to take care of the cats in earnest as the TV show (Everything Animal) was coming to town and the club did not have the cats ready.
As Vee begin to love the kitten, she hopes she will be able to keep it and to also get back into the club.
