Warren Wiersbe and his son, David, composed this one together and, as they write in the preface, it is “an attempt to add some depth of meaning and some spiritual insight to your Christmas celebration.” Beginning with A for Advent, the book explores topics relevant to the advent of Christ, including: Angels, Bethlehem, Caesar, David, Egypt, Elizabeth, Genealogy, Herod, Hope, Mary, Messiah, Peace, Prophecy, Redemption, Shepherds, Zechariah... you get the idea. It goes through the whole alphabet. The book is just a little over 200 pages and is a great December read! I read it this time last year (or maybe the December before) and I highly recommend it! ( )
