Little Bunny Foo Foo was a bunny that just didn’t listen to anyone and wanted to do whatever he wanted to do throughout the forest. So one day he made some mud pies to throw at the field mice, but the good fairy of the forest didn’t like what Little Bunny Foo Foo was doing and told him that he had three warnings and after those three warnings she would turn him into a goon. Little Bunny Foo Foo each time he didn’t listen to the good fairy and was turned into a goon just as the good fairy said she would do if he didn’t stop throwing mud pies at all the forest animals. I think that this book would be good to read to students to let them know that the things you do have conquences and that being mean to people will not help you make any friends either. Summary: This is a favorite tale of the Good Fairy and Little Bunny Foo Foo. He sccops scoops up the field mice, woodchucks, foxes, and grizzly bears, and bops them on the head. The fairy gave him Three chances and he misbehaved each time and now she turns him into a GOON. Personal Reaction: Like the story. The pictures were bright, the story was fun and the kids had fun with the story. It kept their attention the whole time. Extension ideas: 1. Have the kids join in on the story have them say "Boppin'em on the head", when cued by you. Gives child involvement with story. 2. Make Little Bunny Foo Foo puppets with brown sacks. 3. Sing "Little Bunny Foo Foo" traditional song during group time. Little Bunny Foo Foo is a book to go along with the nursery rhyme. Bunny Foo Foo is watched by the good fairy, he goes around bopping animals on the head. The good fairy gives him three tries to be good or he get turns into a goon. Little Bunny Foo Foo does not listen and the good fairy punishes him for what he has done and not listening. This is a great book to read to children about listening to your elders and respecting others. A picture book to go with the song of the naughty bunny "Foo Foo" who bops forest animals on the head and keeps misbehaving, despite warnings from the Good Fairy. In this version, Foo Foo is using mud pies to bop the heads of foxes, muskrats, and even bears! The Good Fairy interjects among verses of the song to show her disapproval. She even engages the audience by asking questions like "Do you think he listened?" A fun read aloud (and sing-along) for younger students and a good mentor text for older students to show point of view and voice. inga recensioner | lägg till en recension
In an adaptation of the children's song, the good fairy tells of her efforts to make the naughty bunny behave and what happens when these efforts fail. Inga biblioteksbeskrivningar kunde hittas. |

This is one of my favorite children's books. It teaches kids about listening otherwise something might happen and it also lets kids sing along with the book. In the back of the book it gives the sheet music to learn the song that goes along with the book and the hand gestures.
