Really liked the start but felt it kept loosing momentum afterwards. Part 1 and 2 were definitely better in my opinion ( ) Har Har Mahadev I have to say that I have become a big-time fan of Lord Shiva after reading this trilogy. The series showed him as a mortal being who ascended to apotheosis by his righteous karma. Particularly, in this book the war tactics and strategies were portrayed beautifully. I thoroughly enjoyed the great battles, conspiracies and tragedies. All the loose ends were tied at the end. Gonna miss the characters, especially Shiva... The next series by the author would be based on Lord Ram. Amish, you've got my undivided attention there. P.S. I even bought the Hindi version of the trilogy for my mother, who is deeply religious. These three books reminds me of the Matrix trilogy. The One who becomes sort of god at the end, Kickass female lead around whom the story revolves, Unexpected alliances. amazing first book, necessary yet mediocre/disappointing sequels. I was quiet satisfied with ending of Matrix 3, but that wasn't the case here. At first I felt Okay about the climax, But as time passed it felt more and more illogical. There is so much elements in the first book that could've been exploited to make sequels better, but it tried to go in different way. Good thing about the last book is : it ties the loose ends. Still if you love the first book, you may like the sequels. “The key question isn't 'What is Evil?'
