The House of Hades (Heroes of Olympus, The, Book Four: The House of Hades)… (utgåvan 2015)

These books have been readable enough, but about a quarter of the way into this one I feel like Rick Riordan suddenly magically came into his own! I stopped getting the characters confused for one another! I became invested in them as individuals! The teenage couples became wayyyy less annoying!

This book follows the Seven on their journey to close the Doors of Death to stop the Giants from raising Gaea. This isn't the only problem the facing the Seven. They have to try and stop a war between the Greek and Roman demigod camps. The Seven have started to form a strong friendship, but their is still problems among them. Jason and Percy but heads constantly on who is the leader, but they don't give up on their goal. This shows that if you put your differences aside you can work together. However, stubbornness can be detrimental to the goals of your group. Fantasy and Greek Mythology. ( )

times I shouted OH MY GOD whilst reading this book: a buttload. literally a buttload of times, and then I cried a little. ( )

Solid series - I still hate annabeth - I adore Coach Hedge, his tough exterior and exuberance for fighting, so good - I always like learning, which is what these books do, you always wonder what happens once the monsters they slay get sent down and this book was so interesting in that respect, the underworld is not a place most would want to venture - oh, and it was hilarious too ( )

A YA series so richly done it really can appeal to everyone. This series is as addictive as his first demigods series. ( )
