This is, in my opinion, the best commentary I have ever seen on Holy Scripture. Adam Clarke spoke and read twenty languages fluently and he studied actual manuscripts of scripture in their original languages. His knowledge and understanding of the bible is superb. I recommend this set to any bible scholar or serious bible student. The trick, however, is getting your hands on it. ( )
