This isn't my typical reading material, and I'm not sure I'll read the other books in this series. That being said, I actually did enjoy Tiger Shrimp Tango for the crazy Florida crime romp that it is. Since I haven't read the previous Serge Storms books, I'm not sure if this is an element of all of them, but the timeline in Tiger Shrimp Tango jumps backward and forward, which can be confusing at times. One character seemed to have two first meetings with Mahoney, the private eye; I'm still not sure if that actually was a continuity error or if I simply misread/misunderstood. Because of the multiple plot lines, though, some fast-forwarding and rewinding probably was necessary to cover everything that was happening. Overall, Dorsey did a good job at tying up the plot, which is impressive since it's a rather multi-faceted plot. Note: I received an advance reader copy of this book through the Goodreads First Reads program. Tiger Shrimp Tango is a book from the start has a pace, good character build up, good scene description, good storyline until the end. The conclusion was well thought out and completed the story. It is nice to read that the good guys win in the end. The book is given a solid four stars here and is recommended if one likes action books. inga recensioner | lägg till en recension
