Gah! Nyrae Dawn has made me believe in soulmates with these two!

This is what I want to see in a romance: two people who compliment each other so well that is is simply a blast to watch them fall for each other!

Yes, they had great physical chemistry; the sexual tension was off the charts from the start. But at the same time, it was a slow burn type of romance. One that took its time and made it 100% believable.

And the character development! Perfection! Watching these two come to terms with their pasts was a beautiful thing to see. You don't get any unnecessary drama in this plot at all. It sticks to the story of two people finding love when they never thought they could.

This book was just awesome! Exactly what I wanted and what I needed to read.

I didn't think Facade or Charade could be topped to be honest because I loved both of those books soooo much but bring on Maddox and Bee, two people with troublesome backgrounds drifting and trying not to get involved with anyone but Maddox gets under Bee's skin and Bee shows Maddox that he doesn't have to do things alone, that people love him and he can rely them to be there for him.

I have to be honest as yet I haven't read a book by Nyrae that I haven't loved and this is no different! You need to have read Facade and Charade first if only to know the background but they're both fab too so that shouldn't be a hardship at all! ( )

I'm not sure that I have ever read a book where two people were so incredibly broken and messed up yet somehow work together.

Bee an Maddox are both tormented. Holy cow, the torment, the self-loathing, the pain! Especially in Maddox. He is so angry at...everything. They both need to let go of the past, forgive and let happiness in and they are going to fight letting that happen tooth and nail. They will refuse to admit they want more, they will walk away from anything remotely resembling happiness until they just can't anymore.

Here's where Nyrae Dawn's brilliance shines: She NAILS Bees struggles. She eloquently portrays the struggles that she is going through brought on by a past that not many people can imagine. The guilt, the struggle with her identity, the loss of self. Every thing she is feeling is so understandable. It's like the reader is able to see inside the mind of a person that goes through what she has gone through. It's amazing.

The 3rd installment in this series is definitely Nyrae Dawn's strongest writing yet. It's lovely.
