Beekle is born on an island for imaginary friends where they wait to be imagined by a child. He was never chosen so he set out on a journey himself to find a friend. It takes a lot of courage and patience, but eventually he finds his perfect match.

This adorable book explains the importance of adventure, imagination, and friendship. Beekle awaits in the imaginary world for someone in the real world to imagine him. Once kids create their imaginary friends, characters like Beekle are united with the people who thought of them! I would suggest this book to a younger elementary audience, especially when talking about friendship. ( )
