Awarded annually since 1954 the iF design competition has done much to publicize the current state and niveau of international design, and it is now one of the most renowned design competitions in the world. The iF Annual 2003 documents the best and most significant developments in many design disciplines which took place in 2003. The book comprises all 429 iF design award winners from the areas of Communication Design which includes digital media and graphic design, product design, packaging design, public design, and transportation design. It also documents the student competition "Concepts" where a number of tomorrow's generation of designers received an accolade for design excellence.
