Book 4 in the On Dublin Street series, but I still haven't been able to obtain an audiobook of the first book, On Dublin Street. She reads slowly and sonorously - it's a little unusual - not sure I liked it, but it did seem to suit the main character, Hannah Nichols. She has such a crush on Marco D'Allessandro in high school, a boy who is about 3 years older when she is 15, it haunts her for the next 7 years, which is when we catch up with her story. That premise is the start of a sad, serious story. This is the weakest of the series. Don't start here, but if you can get it on sale, do and read for an update of previous couples. Full review posted on my blog. http://literarymatchmaker.blogspot.com/2014/06/fall-from-india-place-by-samantha... I enjoyed this. Very angsty. Second chance romance. The Hero and heroine meets when they are in high school. He's a bit older. They form a friendship. He has a really bad family background and only tells her bits and pieces so she never really realises how bad things are. When they are a bit older they have sex, she looses her virginity to him, and he runs out on her. He disappears, moves away. Years later they meet again. Things are complicated and secrets are revealed slowly. Spoilers below for the safety gang. There are plenty of secondary characters, some whose stories have already been told so we get to see them living their HEA, others are there with potential. HEA. Spoilers and for the safety gang. No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine but there is some ex drama in the form of another woman. In the time of separation, of course the heroine hasn't been intimate with anyone else but the Hero had a drunken night with an old school friend and got her pregnant. He has a three year old son. The heroine has good reason for not being intimate with anyone again as use suffered a tragedy herself. inga recensioner | lägg till en recension

"When Hannah Nichols last saw Marco D'Alesandro five long years ago, he broke her heart. The bad boy with a hidden sweet side was the only guy Hannah ever loved--and the only man she's ever been with. After one intense night of giving in to temptation, Marco took off, leaving Scotland and Hannah behind. Shattered by the consequences of their night together, Hannah has never truly moved on. Leaving Hannah was the biggest mistake of Marco's life--something he has deeply regretted for years. So when fate reunites them, he refuses to let her go without a fight. Determined to make her his, Marco pursues Hannah, reminding her of all the reasons they're meant to be together.... But just when Marco thinks they're committed to a future together, Hannah makes a discovery that unearths the secret pain she's been hiding from him--a secret that could tear them apart before they have a real chance to start over again..."-- Inga biblioteksbeskrivningar kunde hittas. |
