This is a bittersweet ending to the Kylie and Trace saga. I really enjoyed this series, and this last book did a wonderful job and sealing their fate.

Fate. Funny thing fate is. These two find themselves thrown back together which creates some serious drama! Kylie is doing her best to hold on to her anger for Trace. She refuses to allow him to prove her wrong in what she thinks has happened. Trace is determined to set Kylie straight and regain her love.

This book had me going back and forth for a while. I really was starting to not like Kylie for a while there. There are parts of the book she seemed like a child instead of a young adult... but then again, she kind of still is a child in her own rights. The relationships between all of the characters, as always, are strong and undeniably addictive. You will find yourself changing your mind on what you want the outcome to be. You may shed a few tears here and there too. ( )

I'm going to be honest and say this was my least favorite of the series. The ONLY reason I gave it three stars as opposed to two is because the ending was redeeming. I didn't even read the whole book. I read the first 44 chapters and then started at the end and started reading backwards. Why? Because the first 44 chapters were filled with nothing but whining and inconveniences and missed opportunities, and whining...and more complaining. I couldn't take it anymore! So, I read the end and read backwards until I started seeing increasingly more whining and then quit reading. I think I skipped 5 or 6 chapters total. ( )

I have loved Trace and Kylie since the beginning. One thing I have adored about this series is the fact that it focuses on Nashville and country music. After how Girl on Tour ended, I thought I was going to want to junk punch Trace in this one, but I didn't. If anything I just wanted to squeeze him!

Kylie has everything she has ever wanted.. well almost. She is out there singing her heart out, making music. Fulfilling her dreams. But she is still left empty. Within all her success something, someone is still missing. I can't say I blame her for being upset with Trace, but in the same breath I am so proud of him for getting the help he needed. I feel like these two just needed to communicate! Communication is key! I love Kylie Lou but man that girl is stubborn!!However I am glad to see the way Caisey handled their issues, I am so happy she didn't just gloss over everything. She made these two work through it, instead of pretending there was never a problem. That alone is why she is one of my favorite authors. She makes it authentic as possible.

I am sad to see these two go. I enjoyed their story. The ups, the downs, the high and the lows. Trace and Kylie's story teaches you that love does conquer all, but it is also work. You have to communicate. Beautiful ending to an amazing series! Once again well done Caisey Quinn. ( )
