I really enjoyed this different way to teach about the "Mythological Monsters" of ancient Greece. The illustrations are done in collage form with lettering done by the author. This created eye-catching pages. I couldn't look away myself. At the end of the book it gives descriptions of each monster, it also gives a small quiz with questions about the monsters. I really loved the style of the way this book was written. It is really fun and I can see this being a fun book to have in the classroom. ( )

I loved reading through this book. It is a great tool to interest students in mythology and show them some of the characters. It includes fourteen different creatures seen in Greek Mythology. Each page introduces the character, gives background information on them (tells readers why they’re famous), and includes an image of that character. The illustrations are quirky and strange and very often use real pictures of people’s eyes in these images. Loved it! Recommend it!
