If you didn't know the story, you'd never be able to follow it in this jumbled up adaptation of the hit novel that inspired the not-quite-hit movie. Even if you know the story it's hard to follow here and I found myself disappointed by the flat art and flatter characters. Recommended only for completists. (

This is a short graphic novel (not a manga) that is a direct adaptation of the Japanese book.

Made into the movie Edge of Tomorrow (or "Live, Die, Repeat: Edge of Tomorrow"). I think the movie is better than the book.

2015-08-25/100%: Read the book, saw the movie, now I've read the graphic novel. Decent art. The story in the GN felt choppy, disjointed. They should have made it longer or split across two books. There were several places where I was confused as to whether I missed something and nothing was really made clear. The book is much, much better. (
