Little Miss is going to be a big sis. The story brings the reader through what it is like to become a big sister. From the anticipation to the unconditional love, Little Miss loves being a big sis. This would be a great story to read to a child when there is a new baby on the way. The story has rhyming and very simple illustrations that add to the story in a positive way. ( )

This is a simple and relatable book for anyone that is a little sister. We see the anticipation of a girl build just before her baby sister is born. The author illustrates all of the older sister’s emotions before her sister is born and when her sister is born. This book would be a good book to read to a child that is having and younger sibling soon. It would teach them that they have to be role models for their siblings and have patience with them as well. I absolutely love this book! I can relate to Little Miss 110% by being the oldest with a little sister. I can still remember when my sister was a baby and I felt the same way Little Miss did. At first it is so exciting to have a new baby sister, but then when you realize that you can't play with them, it becomes a bummer. Little Miss did not let that bother her too much, and was still a really big help to her parents with her new baby sister. When I was younger, I remember vividly always helping my mom because my dad was away at work and she is hearing impaired. I had an important job, just like Little Miss did with her baby sister. As her baby sister grew up, Little Miss was looked up to and admired by her baby sister. It is truly an amazing feeling being the big sister and knowing that your little sister looks up to you for most things if not all. This book is a perfect read to any child who is expecting their first sibling, just to show them how important they are to their new baby sister or brother. ( )

A cute tale of a little girl's anticipation of the birth of a younger sibling. I could relate to this story because I was also excited for my new little brother until I realized they're not really fun until they grow up. Eventually, of course, babies do grow and this story does a sweet job of demonstrating the change in relationship as children grow and evolve. ( )
