2731 Inside the White House: The Hidden Lives of the Modern Presidents and the Secrets of the World's Most Powerful Institution, by Ronald Kessler (read 15 Apr 1995) This is a 1995 book which tells 'secrets' about the Presidents from Roosevelt to 1995, concentrating on Clinton. It is enough to make a person sick: how people can be so different from what one considers ordinary decency is beyond me. Why would Presidents be less likely than ordinary people to be decent people? The book is not well-written, but is footnoted--mostly to "interviews." ( )
