When You Reach Me is a amazing book. It is about a girl named Miranda whose mother is training to be on a game show called the “$20,000 Pyramid”. Miranda and her mom live in an apartment in New York City. Miranda starts to get strange notes from someone who seems to know things about the future, and she has to figure out the mystery of who this strange person is. I really enjoyed this book because the author makes it hard to piece things together, so you can’t solve the mystery before Miranda. Because of this, it kept me reading as much as I could until I finished it. The message is expect the unexpected. If you like mysteries and are 10+ years old, you will probably enjoy this book. It is a little confusing at some parts, so that’s why I recommend it to people 10+. When You Reach Me is a must read.
