Yohannan is insistent, yet gentle in his approach. He leads us to consider whether our material wealth is indeed worth the tenacity with which we cling to it. He invites us to think about this life as a prelude to life eternal, and as an opportunity to contribute our time and resources to God’s kingdom.

This book encouraged me think about my life and my possessions from a different point of view. Although it may not inspire us to sell all that we have and devote ourselves to missionary work, it undoubtedly challenges us to think differently about how we allocate the blessings we receive. This is a thought-provoking book that is well worth a read.
