Just read this for the first time in 8 years! I love this series and was really encouraged by the character of Hadassah. I'm feeling bolder about sharing my own faith after reading about her sharing hers! Truly a masterpiece series!!

Not quite as consistent or gripping as the first book but still a satisfying sequel. I found it easy to journey and empaphise with the characters. It's a good story, with the bonus of some life application. (

Book 2 of 3

Takes places at the same time as book 3. Book 1 finishes and book 2 and 3 branch off in different directions following different characters.

Girl of book 1 is still alive. Damaged, scared, and hiding. Her friends mourn her death and search for answers. (
