There isn't much information that is learned or a story plot. The only thing that I found interesting was the information in the back of the book about Native Americans. I wouldn't use this book in a classroom. Ten Little Rabbits helps introduce children to the Native American culture through colorful illustrations and the simple depiction of aspects of Native American life. This book, when used within the classroom can be used as part of a cultural and historical introduction to Native Americans. Students can be asked to research the colorful blanket designs to find which Native American tribe may have used them, as well as be asked to research whether the daily life depicted in the book is factual to the daily life of Native Americans. inga recensioner | lägg till en recension

The simple rhyme is appropriate for young children and the illustrations on each page are colorful, encouraging the child to count the rabbits in each scene. In addition, the portrayal of characters in the story as Native Americans encourages the young child to explore the customs and traditions of another culture in a positive way. (
